Bruce Tilley joined Maclarens Lawyers in 1983. He graduated with a law degree from UNSW in 1979 and has been a partner of the firm since 1989.
Bruce has considerable experience in litigation, both personal and commercial, but has chosen to focus exclusively in the field of Family Law since the early 1990s.
His experience covers a wide range of issues in the field of family law, from negotiating complex property settlements and family business restructuring, to representing children in Court proceedings to ensure their individual rights are considered. He particularly enjoys working with clients to reach a solution that is uniquely tailored to their needs, usually without the need to attend Court.
Bruce was among the first group of solicitors in New South Wales to gain specialist accreditation in Family Law in 1993. He is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a member of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators, a member of the Western Sydney Collaborative Family Lawyers network and an Independent Children’s Lawyer appointed by the Family Court.
